This year, the Protestant Christian church marks the 100th anniversary of an extraordinary conference that took place in Edinburgh, Scotland, from June 14 to 23, 1910. 'The World Missionary Conference to Consider Missionary Problems in Relation to the Non-Christian World,' its full title, was quickly and thankfully shortened to 'The World Missionary Conference.'
